Perdido Key OG is committed to clear and complete disclosure of any commercial relationships that may affect what you read on this site.

Current status

Perdido Key OG has applied for Google AdSense. Until Google approves the account and starts serving, you should not see display ads on the site. There are no sponsored posts and no affiliate links today.

When ads do go live, they will always be visually distinguishable from editorial content. We do not put Auto Ads on the live beach-flag page — the flag and Beach Day Score stay above the fold with no ad chrome in the way. Preferred inventory is place pages, guides, and longer reads. Editorial decisions — what we cover and how — are made by the site's editorial team without influence from advertisers.

What we'll always disclose

• Any sponsored Drift post — clearly labeled Sponsored at the top of the post.
• Any featured placement on a homepage or area page — clearly labeled Featured.
• Any affiliate link — disclosed inline ("we may earn a commission if you book through this link") and indexed on this page.
• Any business relationship between the site and a place we cover.

What we'll never do

• Disguise an ad as editorial.
• Accept payment to remove or modify a negative mention.
• Sell or trade your email address.
