Warrior Beer Company sits on Sorrento Road, which makes it the only actual brewery on the whole Perdido corridor — everything else out here pours somebody else’s beer. They brew their own beers and ciders on site, keep a wine list for the holdouts, and run the place more like a gathering hall than a taproom: a big open hall, covered dining areas, and an outdoor pavilion where the live entertainment happens.
What to drink and eat
The house beers and ciders are the point — this is where you drink something that was made a few feet from your stool. Food comes two ways: a bar menu of fried pickles, cheese wedges, loaded tots, and fried fish and shrimp, plus a food truck on site when you want a real plate.
The vibe
Family-friendly in the way good small breweries are — kids and dogs at the picnic tables, live music most nights at the pavilion, nobody in a hurry. They bill live entertainment every day of the week, which for this far out on Sorrento is saying something.
Good to know
Weekends run all afternoon into the night; early in the week is quieter, so check before you drive out. They also book private parties and do catering.
