Most Orange Beach charters are six-packs, which is great until there are eleven of you. Island Girl is the answer to that math: a 50-foot boat out of Zeke’s Landing licensed for up to 20 passengers, with more than twenty years in the business. This is the boat for the family reunion, the bachelor party, the whole-office trip — the groups that would otherwise need two boats and a group text about who rides with whom.
The trips
Offshore deep-sea fishing for the usual Gulf lineup — red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, mingo snapper, amberjack, mackerel, cobia, redfish — with longer runs available when the group wants bigger fish. The crew is used to boats full of beginners and kids; the deckhands do the coaching so nobody has to pretend they know how to rig a bait.
Good to know
They lean into the event trade — bachelor and bachelorette parties, graduations, birthdays, corporate outings — so if your trip is really a party that happens to involve fishing, say so when you book and they’ll shape the day around it. Per-person costs on a 20-passenger boat usually work out friendlier than splitting a private six-pack, too.
