Perdido Key Bike Rentals is a genuine family operation — Ashley, Ray, and their son Chandler — that opened its storefront in May 2025 at the Villagio, tucked under The Jellyfish. Before the storefront it was a delivery outfit, and delivery is still the heart of it: they bring the bikes to wherever you’re staying on the Key, free, and pick them up when you’re done.
The fleet
Cruisers for the flat, easy riding the Key was built for, plus electric bikes, electric scooters, and — the conversation piece — water bikes you pedal across the water. Rentals run by the hour, day, or week, extensions are easy, and they take same-day reservations in-store or by phone.
Why locals care
The Key is one of the best easy-cycling spots on the coast — flat, compact, with the state park and Johnson Beach both in comfortable range — and for years there was no obvious local place to get a bike. Now there is, it’s family-run, and they’ll deliver to your condo door. That’s about as low-friction as a vacation logistics problem gets solved.
