Perdido Key Trading Co is the locally-owned answer to the big souvenir barns across the state line — a shop on Perdido Key Drive doing the classic beach-store inventory at a scale where somebody actually picked the stock.
What you’ll find
Shells, t-shirts, swimwear, and the general run of souvenirs you came to the beach expecting to buy. It covers the same ground as the chain stores, just smaller and closer if you’re staying on the Key — no need to cross into Alabama for a raft and a fridge magnet.
Good to know
Open 9am to 9pm daily, which handles most vacation emergencies short of the midnight ones. It’s an easy stop along the main drag on the Florida side, and being locally owned counts for something with us — the Key doesn’t have many retail spots that aren’t part of a chain, and we’d like to keep the ones we’ve got.
