Light wind, low surf, and green or yellow flags. After strong onshore wind or storms, expect murky water and sometimes elevated flags. Early morning is usually calmest before the sea breeze builds.

June through September runs on a schedule: clear and calm at sunrise, sea breeze building by late morning, towering clouds inland by early afternoon, and a good chance of a thunderstorm somewhere between 2 and 6 pm that clears in an hour and leaves everything steaming.
