The Red Haven Live

AL Unclaimed

Family-owned live-music room on Canal Road — songwriters on Saturdays, food and a full week of acts, no beach-bar shtick.

The Red Haven Live opened in a pair of Canal Road units over the winter of 2025-26, and by March al.com was already calling it “Orange Beach’s newest live music and food venue.” It’s family-owned, it books a weekly lineup of acts, and the Saturday songwriter series is the tell that they’re serious about the music rather than just piping in background noise for the daiquiri crowd.

The music

A rotating weekly schedule of live acts, with the songwriter rounds on Saturdays as the anchor. This stretch of the Gulf Coast has always had more good songwriters than rooms that actually listen to them — Red Haven is a bet that a listening room can work here, and we hope it pays.

Good to know

They run Thursday through Sunday, opening at 2pm and going until midnight — or on Sundays, until whenever “til” turns out to be. There’s a food menu alongside the bar, so you can make an evening of it rather than eating elsewhere first.

The vibe

Strip-space bones on Canal Road, which is exactly how new independent venues start around here. You’re not paying for a view; you’re paying attention to whoever’s on the stage. That’s the pitch, and it’s a good one.
