The Track has been on the Gulf Shores Parkway since 1993, and its whole reputation rides on one structure: the Wild Woody, an elevated go-kart track that spirals up three and a half stories of wooden ramp before dropping you back down. You can see it from the road. Kids negotiate for it from the back seat.
The tracks
Six of them, which is the real advantage — everybody races at their own level. The Wild Woody for the headline, a Slick Track built for sliding, a figure-eight Family Track with an overpass, a Super Track with tighter curves, a Rookie Track for older kids, and Kiddie Karts for first-timers between 3’6” and 4’0”. Nobody sits out because they’re the wrong height.
Beyond the karts
A 110-foot Skycoaster that swings up to 70 mph for whoever’s earned bragging rights, a spinning coaster pitched as a first roller coaster, blaster boats, an 18-hole jungle mini golf course, a kids’ ride section, and Fat Daddy’s Arcade with over 60 games.
Good to know
Open daily 10am to 10pm. Everything runs on a points card — rides cost roughly 5 to 27 points each — so decide up front whether you’re buying an hour or an evening. Evening is usually the honest answer.
