The Louisiana Lagniappe has been the Orange Beach answer to “where do we go for a real dinner” since 1999. Tucked into the SanRoc Cay shopping-and-marina complex on Perdido Beach Boulevard, it overlooks the marina and Cotton Bayou — the second location of the original Destin restaurant, and a perennial local fine-dining pick.
The food
Traditional Gulf seafood with a New Orleans / Creole accent — the kind of menu where the sauces matter and the fish is treated with respect. Casual-upscale: you’d take a date here without apologizing, but nobody’s going to fuss about your flip-flops.
Good to know
Dinner only — doors open at 4:30 PM daily, and a marina-view table at sunset is the play. It books up in season, so reserve ahead.
