Orange Beach Boat Rentals

AL Unclaimed
watersports · The Wharf

Orange Beach's only boat rentals with bathrooms.

Orange Beach Boat Rentals offers pontoon boat rentals with premium amenities including full-size bathrooms, GPS navigation, and Bluetooth audio, and they run out of The Wharf on the Intracoastal side of Orange Beach — the dock is directly below the SpringHill Suites, so if you’re staying at The Wharf you can walk to your boat. Rentals come as half-day (4 hours), full-day (8 hours), or sunset cruise (1.5 hours) options that seat up to eight guests (six on the sunset run), with taxes, fees, and amenities included. The bathroom is the differentiator, and their tagline says so: it sounds trivial until you’re four hours into a day with kids and no plan.

What you get

Each pontoon comes with a Garmin GPS, a JL Audio Bluetooth sound system, a 150-horsepower Yamaha, and lounge-style seating, plus a cooler with ice and a nine-foot floating mat that turns any anchorage into a swim platform. The advertised range is over twenty miles of calm bays, rivers, islands, and bayous — which is The Wharf’s real advantage. You launch on the protected side, not through the Pass, so a windy Gulf day doesn’t necessarily wreck the plan.

When to go

Full-day and weekend rentals book fast in peak season, and the sunset cruise is short enough to fit around dinner reservations. Weekday mornings in the shoulder months are the quietest water.

Before you book

Reserve ahead in summer rather than showing up. The main renter must be 25 or older with a valid driver’s license, and they say it plainly: “we do not rent to first-time boaters.” Fuel is extra, charged by what you use. Check the Orange Beach flag report for the day’s weather and surf; the back bays stay calmer than the beach, but a storm is a storm. The rest of the marina district is on The Wharf page and the broader on-the-water guide.

Before you head out

Check today's Orange Beach flag and the Beach Day Score before you commit the afternoon — the Gulf decides a lot of plans around here. This spot is in The Wharf; that page has the parking, access, and local notes for the stretch. Comparing rentals? Every boat rental's prices, side by side, with the boater-card rules. Something out of date? Tell us and we'll fix it.

Tomorrow's flag, before you drive.

The beach flag, the Beach Day Score and where to eat, every morning around 7:30. Free. One tap to leave.
