The good ones are weekday-afternoon affairs — roughly the gap between the beach emptying and dinner filling up — and most quietly disappear on Friday and Saturday nights in season. Waterfront bars on the Orange Beach side tend to pair theirs with sunset, which is the whole point; the Perdido Key side runs more to dive-bar prices with no view and no apologies.
